Toronto’s Workforce Funders Collaborative Is Hiring an Executive Director
2019

For the past year the Metcalf Foundation, the Counselling Foundation, United Way Greater Toronto, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, TD Bank Group and JP Morgan Chase have been exploring how they can work collaboratively through shared resources and strategic efforts to improve workforce development and advance systemic change in order to create a more equitable labour market and economy across the GTA.

We believe that big workforce problems require innovative and flexible solutions, and that by working together and with other leaders we can be more responsive, intentional and proactive to create shared prosperity in the region.

Emerging from our year-long planning process, we have agreed to form the Workforce Funders Collaborative and are now hiring a founding Executive Director.

The Executive Director will lead and shape the Collaborative’s funding and partnership strategy with the direction set by the Collaborative members and informed by data, evidence, and key stakeholders. This will include working closely with relevant regional system actors to identify opportunities to enhance, catalyze and leverage opportunities to test, learn from and drive change.
