World music performer and composer Maryem Hassan Tollar is one of five Metcalf Foundation Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prize winners. She has performed, composed, and worked with artists across a variety of musical traditions and disciplinary genres nationally and internationally in English, French and Arabic.
