The taging Change Associate Facilitator Training Initiative (SCAFTI) is a train-the-trainer program, which will develop the capacity of local consultants through the practice of adaptive change. It is focused on enhancing the skills of two groups of people: consultants who have a practice based in the performing arts, especially those with experience in facilitating organizational change, and organizational leaders from all arts disciplines.

In the delivery of SCAFTI, Metcalf will be partnering with EmcArts, a non-profit cultural enterprise based in New York. This marks the first time that the Performing Arts program is partnering with an external service provider in the delivery of its flagship program. The training will be led by Melissa Dibble, Managing Director of EmcArts.

Staging Change is Metcalf’s latest version of its multi-year strategic funding program in the Performing Arts. The Staging Change Associate Facilitator Training Initiative is an integral component of the vision for the program. The fourteen Toronto-based performing arts companies and organizations selected for acceptance into Stage 1 of Staging Change can be found here.
