Over two-thirds of Torontonians would like to see more bike lanes in the city.
There was a 10-fold increase in cyclist volume after the bike lanes were installed on Richmond and Adelaide Streets.
Half of the trips in the City of Toronto can be made by bicycle.
Cycle City Highlights
On July 17, Toronto’s city council approved an updated Bike Network Plan that would see Bloor Street bike lanes extended and pilot bike lanes installed on the Danforth as early as 2020.
